OCHSNER has also been manufacturing high capacity heat pumps for many years. These are used in larger buildings for economical and emission free heating and cooling.

Whereas heat pumps for use in private residential buildings and industry are already standard equipment in the heating sector, having largely replaced fossil fuels, the presence of high capacity heat pumps is yet to make its mark in practice.
Through the development of the OCHSNER high temperature heat pump, new areas of application are opening up in industry and power station technology.

In order to provide this business sector with the technology and development options it needs, OCHSNER has founded its own affiliate – OCHSNER Process Heat. It is the role of this company to concentrate exclusively on the development and application of heat pumps in the output range 100 to 2500 kW and above.
